Ever since I was a little girl, I loved drawing! When it was time to decide "What I wanted to be when I grow up," it was clear that art school was the way to go. I attended the American Academy of Art in Chicago and was lucky enough to have a couple of amazing teachers that encouraged me and gave me confidence to pursue my illustration dreams!

After graduating, I moved to Florida with my now husband and worked for a school publishing company designing websites and interactive games for Grades K-6. Feeling the walls of the cubicle closing in on me, I decided to go out on my own and do what I love - DRAW!

I draw everything first by hand before I scan my sketches. I then use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create the rest. I love adding brush strokes and textures to my art, giving it a more painted feel.

Just recently, I decided to give sewing a go - I so badly wanted to see my art come to life in a more 3-D form. I love seeing my office full of these plushie little critters! It's a rainbow of happiness :)
